Hmmm... Well the body could be modified to knit straight and the seam up be belly, but I am not sure how you would Icord without a double pointed needle. You could make the legs with a crochet chain, eliminating the need for dpn in that case. <br /><br />I would try knitting the body as written, but purl instead of knitting on WS rows. Let me know how it goes!
