Meet My Army!

The fall is filled with so much knitting as I prepare for the holidays there is not enough time for me to post on all of them! Here is the creation of my snow army!

The Snowmen
(With accessories knit out of hand died wool)

Slim, with three of his unfelted buddies

Post dressing!

Coal

Note how the grumpies are knit the same, but the lumps have great variety post felting.

Googlie eyes are fun!

I felt a need again to mention my love for stove top felting: By soaking the critters in simmering water, with occasional dunks into cold water, the fibers loosen enough so when you add friction (with a potato masher if you can be rough, of with your hands if you want to have more careful control... make sure you smash out boiling water first so you don't burn yourself!) the critters felt quickly!
