New England Patriots Logo Knitting Charts

After the Bruins chart was published, I received another email from a reader: "I loved the Red Sox and Bruins graphs on your blog........I have used the Red Sox ones and am in the process of knitting hats for my grandchildren with the Bruins logo. Would you consider doing one a small one for the New England Patriots that would be appropriate for a child's hat or mittens?"

The patriots logo has enough details in it that it was hard to make small, but I am happy to share two versions of the logo with you. The large chart would cover just over half of an adult's hat (see my generic skullcap knitting pattern for a nice template.) Ann, I hope that the small logo will work for some child sized accessories!

    Ann sent me a request for the Celtics logo later that night. This logo will be published Dec 2, 2011.

      Hi Carrie,

      The large chart at 56 sts wide would pretty easily fit on the front of an adult sweater, especially one knit with a bulkier yarn. It really depends on the gauge.

      Hi Heather,

      Unfortunately I try to stick with teams that I have some kind of affiliation with, unless I need the chart for a gift for a particular person (I recently made a UT logo, for example.) There are just too many teams out there and I was getting too many requests.

      I do have a three part tutorial on how to make your own knitting charts in excel, so maybe this will help you create a chart for the logo of your choice.

    Is it possible to get this inpattern so it is about 22 rows tall?

      Sorry, I'm not planning on designing a 3rd version of this chart. The large chart is 27 rows tall and the small one is 17 rows tall.

    Good morning Rebecca. I am wondering if you think the lage logo would look nice as the center panel of an afghan? I am gearing up to do another large Christmas project for 2017 :) I love and thank you for your designs!

      It really depends on what you'd like to knit.

      I used the large chart on the New England Patriots Hat knitting pattern (Full pattern is available on this link) I used size 6 needles with 100 stitches in the hat for an adult male.
